The Lacker SmartTag comprises a small, UV- and weather-resistant plastic tag that allows each window unit to be assigned a digital identity.
A software application serves to allocate the SmartTag to the relevant window position. All relevant data, information and documents, e.g. wiring diagram or CE marking, can thus be readily stored in digital form for the entire lifespan of the unit!
This is achieved by using the SmartTag app to create a digital twin of the window unit. All available information on the relevant window unit can then be easily accessed by scanning the QR code with a smartphone.
But the benefits do not stop there: apart from providing on-site electricians with quick access to the necessary wiring diagram for connecting up the window, the QR code can also be used to contact our support department directly in case of damage. Fast and smooth processing is then possible as our support team already knows, through the digital twin, which unit is affected and which components have been installed. At the same time, a digital support and maintenance history is automatically created.
